Weekly Registrations in China: BYD Leads with 88.8k, Followed by Tesla (14.4k), Nio (6k), and Others

The weekly insurance registrations from China were released with BYD reaching a record of 88,800 new energy vehicles, Tesla’s registrations rose slightly, Li Auto saw a decline, Aito and Leapmotor registered vehicles, Nio had growth, Geely’s Zeekr brand saw an increase, Xpeng registrations rose, and XPeng secured over 50,000 orders for the Mona M03 model. The figures cover the period from August 26 to September 25 with NEV penetration rate in China surpassing 50%. Li Auto delivered 48,000 vehicles in August, Aito plans to release a new SUV model, Nio will deliver the SUV L60 later in the month, and XPeng expects over 20,000 monthly deliveries in September or October.
