Videos on social media show the protest, with some activists also targeting a former airfield where Tesla cars are parked. Despite their efforts, protesters have not gained access to the factory. Police presence is significant, with roads and train lines being closed due to activists’ actions.

Expansion Plans for Giga Berlin Amidst Local Opposition

Tesla plans to double Giga Berlin’s production capacity, but residents in Grünheide voted against the expansion. The town, home to the factory, has a current annual capacity of 500,000 units. Despite tensions and protests, the company continues to operate in the area.
