Tesla Set to Reveal New Model Y in Early 2025, Followed by 7-Seat Version

The highly anticipated Tesla Model Y refresh is expected to be unveiled early next year, with a new 7-seater version planned for delivery in the fourth quarter. Codenamed “Juniper,” the five-seater will be delivered in the first quarter, while the seven-seater is set for the last quarter of 2025. Changes in the refreshed Model Y will be similar to the updated Model 3, including exterior design adjustments, interior updates, autonomous driving hardware, and battery pack capacity enhancements. Tesla CEO Elon Musk has asked influencers to stop sharing pictures of the new Model Y to avoid affecting current version sales. Tesla Model Y sales in 2025 were impressive, with 1.22 million units sold globally, outselling top-sellers like Toyota’s RAV4 and Corolla sedan. Tesla is also preparing to launch its Semi truck in Europe, with test drives scheduled for the IAA event in Germany in September.
