Due to China, Trump Predicts Detroit Automakers Will Be Forced Out of Business

In a highly anticipated interview on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast, former U.S. President and current presidential candidate Donald Trump reaffirmed his strong opinions on the electric vehicle (EV) market and the impact that China can have on American automakers. He criticized environmental regulations that limit access to domestic mineral resources vital for EV production, arguing they disrupt traditional manufacturing jobs. Bank of America analyst Jon Murphy recommended Detroit automakers exit the challenging Chinese market and focus on North America. Meanwhile, Tesla CEO Elon Musk has endorsed Trump following an assassination attempt on the former president.
