Elon Musk Sets Goal of Producing “At Least” 2 Million Cybercabs Annually, Tesla Announces

Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced during the earnings conference call that the company aims to produce 2 million Cybercab units annually, possibly increasing to 4 million. The Robotaxi and Robovan roadmap revealed at the “We, Robot” event on October 10 raised concerns among analysts about scalability. Musk expressed confidence in achieving volume production by 2026 in more than one Giga-factory. The Cybercab model, fully autonomous with no traditional controls, is expected to reach volume production in 2026. Despite not disclosing sales figures, Tesla reported positive gross margins for the Cybertruck and anticipates slight growth in vehicle deliveries for the year.
