Tesla reported delivering 462,890 vehicles in the third quarter, with Model 3 and Model Y accounting for most units. The company also produced 469,796 vehicles, including a variety of models. Tesla Energy saw growth with the deployment of 6.9 GWh of energy storage products. The company will report its earnings on October 23. In China, Tesla extended its 5-year interest-free financing offer for Model 3 and Model Y until the end of October. Wall Street analysts had expected slightly higher delivery numbers, but Tesla’s overall growth was still significant.
