Norway’s Top-Selling EV Title Taken by Tesla Model Y from Nissan Leaf

The Tesla Model Y has become the world’s best-selling vehicle, set to receive a refreshed version in early 2025, surpassing the Nissan Leaf in Norway. The Tesla SUV has reached sales of 59,775 units compared to Nissan Leaf’s 58,860 units. In August, 107 Tesla Model Y units were sold in a day, with monthly figures reaching 2,102 units. The Volvo EX30 and Škoda Enyaq follow as the second and third most sold EVs in Norway, according to data from EU-EVs. Norway now has more electric vehicles than internal combustion ones, with 754,303 EVs compared to 753,905 internal combustion or hybrid vehicles.
