Onvo L60 Outperforms Tesla Model Y with 12 kWh/100 km Energy Consumption

Unveiled last May, the first model from Nio’s sub-brand Onvo will start being delivered in China later this month. The L60 has been available for preorder with a starting price of 219,900 yuan, about 10 per cent lower than the Tesla Model Y. Nio claims the model has an energy consumption of 12.1 kWh per 100 km, but real-world testing suggests it might be lower. The model ranked first in the most efficient EVs in China, followed by the Model Y. Nio mentioned in a post that the battery of the L60 can support over 10,000 swaps in its lifetime, with the potential to have a theoretical lifespan of 100 years.
